The dominant weather in the state of Colima is semi-dry with a little humidity, which appears mainly in the coastal region and the low-lying zones of the Valley of Tecomán. The semi-dry climate appears in a smaller degree in the zone of transition between the coastal plain and the mountain range. It is observed that the semi- warm climates are located where the temperature begins to diminish in the area where the elevation of the Volcano begins.
