My name is Alen Ernesto Martinez Mora; I was born in México City in 1985. All my family is from there,
and I lived there for 10 years. I studied in an elementary school called Manuel Sandoval Vallarta. I remember that this school
was one of the biggest schools in the entire city because there were almost three thousand students. I acquired a lot of experience
because in those days I was a very good student, with an average of 98. I also began to practice football soccer, baseball,
swimming and chess. I also joined the scouts; it was for a long time, so, I went camping a lot, once a month. I used to do
a lot of things when I was young. Almost all the days I used to play with a lot of friends in the street by my house.
When I was like nine years old, my father gave me a present. It was the first Nintendo I ever had. So I started to love
video games.
I didn't want to move to Culiacan because all my friends were from Mexico. I was afraid to the change. In Culiacan, the
people are less friendly than in Mexico. I had a lot of problems, especially in the school because almost all the days I had
fights with others schoolmates. They were very racially biased. The year after I came to Culiacan I changed to another city,
to Villa Hermosa, Tabasco where I lived for almost two years. The climate there is very hot, hotter than Colima. But it is
very peaceful there. The only thing that I don't like about this city is that the people drive very badly. We crashed like
5 times because the people are very frenzied. Then we moved to Colima. I have been living here for almost four years. Here
I graduate from high school. But I think that in those years I've changed a lot. I meet a lot of people, I meet the beer and
the wine, I began to know what I really like to study, because I thought that I will be a pilot, but I prefer to make machines,
and the robots. I began to program in the computer. In the high school I learn a lot of things, including English.
Also my parents changed a lot because when I was young they where very careful with me, so careful that I couldn't go
out with my friends more than two hundred yards around my house. Now, I can go the time whatever and wherever I want. I have
also started to have more responsibility about the things I have, like a car. I have also started to think about my future.
I hope to learn English as much as possible and to grow to be an adult, leaving the games behind.
