Many things in Mexico are stranger than in other parts of the world, like music, food and some kind of drinks. That is
about what I'm going to talk this time, strange drinks from Colima, more specifically, Agua Loca, or Crazy Water.
In Colima there are a lot of drinks that have alcohol, like Tequila, Vodka, Beer, Reyes and many others; but one that
characterizes Colima and Mexico is Tonayan, better known as Bulinga, Mataratas or Tony Ayan.
This is a pure alcohol that costs around 15 pesos the bottle of approximately 500 ml. With Tonayan you can prepare Crazy
Water, which is a drink that contains water flavored with a fruit concentrate and Tonayan. The portions are 5 gallons of natural
water, seven envelopes of concentrate fruit flavor and 1.5 liters of Bulinga. The cost of this great drink is about 50 pesos,
and you can get drunk very easy.
This drink doesn't taste like alcohol, but it can affect you very fast and give you a hangover from hell.
The conclusion is that if you don't have much money and you want to get drunk easily, remember that making crazy water
is cheap and effective.
